AUBURN COMMUNITY SCHOLARSHIP (ACS) 2024

Each year, the Auburn community donates more than $140,000 to seniors graduating from the Auburn School District. Every senior attending public schools in Auburn is eligible to apply for these scholarships, which enable them to continue their training and education beyond high school.
By completing this one application, seniors will be considered for numerous scholarships good for technical, two-year, and four-year colleges!

2024 Auburn Community Scholarship Application

This application allows Auburn District seniors to be considered for all scholarships awarded by donors in the Auburn community. The selection committee will consist of scholarship donors or representatives from the community. Recipients of local scholarships will be announced at each school’s annual Senior Awards Night at the end of the school year. Only students who will graduate from a high school in the Auburn School District are eligible to apply. 

Applications are due Friday March 29, 2024

A completed application packet requires: 

1. Typed Community Scholarship Application (download the application from the link above and edit on your Chromebook, laptop, or desktop computer; do not attempt to use your phone!. Please contact your college and career counselor with questions about the application.

2. Short (300-250 words) response to this prompt: State why you have chosen this field of study/intended career and explain how education will help you attain your goals.

3. Two letters of recommendation (no more than two will be accepted): you may use this letter of recommendation request form. Ideal to submit your letter request at least 6-8 weeks before application due date.

-Academic letter of Recommendation: written by someone in the education community (teacher, counselor, etc.)

-Personal letter of recommendation: written by anyone who can speak to your character, skills, leadership, special circumstances, financial need, etc.

Kiwanis/Key Club Scholarship (open to active AMHS Key Club seniors)

Lake View Elementary Alumni Scholarship (open to seniors that have attended Lake View Elementary for at least 3 years)

Molen Orthodontics Scholarship (open to current/past Molen Orthodontics patients)

McDonald/Mead Wrestling Scholarship (open to active members of the AMHS wrestling team that have completed the season in good standing)

Applications due March 29, 2024

The completed application must be uploaded to this Google Form along with all supporting materials. Students who need assistance with the application should contact Mrs. Ainsworth  [email protected] (AMHS College & Career Counselor) well in advance of the due date (i.e. 3 weeks out or more). 
Award recipients will be announced at the annual Senior Awards Night in the TAM in June 2024
